Create your own Halloween Costume with color of Imagination

Selecting Halloween Costume can be bit tricky as no one wants to end up wearing the same costume as their neighbors. I have thrown many Halloween parties up till now and I can say the most awesome Costumes can be created by yourself. One of my friends who always design her own Halloween Costume told  "If you want to rock the Halloween you have to be weird and so open your fantasy world and pull up the costume of one of the characters." Remember when we were kids and use to play with toys, we use to have our own fantasy world. So same way take a ride on your Unicorn and design your own costume. If still not able to find the costume than why not try mix and matching, pick some dress from costume store and accessories it with some wigs, hats, masks, make up,etc.

This year’s my favorite accessory will be a nice big veil this idea is inspired by Lady Gaga You and I song. I loved the song and her veil also. Same way you can try some accessories, metal hand from you and I song can be other option. 

By the time you are not sure about the costume you can surf various costume websites and get some idea.  Now this is the time to check out some old horror movies for some ideas. Here is one more idea from old movie, The silent Hill is a nice horror movie so why not dress up like scary nurse with red contact lens and blood pouring from the eyes.

I'm also confused about my own costume but I want a costume with which I can wear veil. Gothic Vampires is one idea that is roaming around my head but let’s see if I get a nice Gothic Dress.

How to Plan Halloween Party for Kids

Halloween is just few days away and so everyone has got busy planning this year’s Halloween Party.  Halloween Parties are awesome place to show your weirdest creation, you can dress up as filthy as much you want and still can be the show stopper of the party.   I love Halloween because this is the day when I can wear any rubbish outfit and can roam whole city without any one pointing at me.  But from last two years my Halloween Party has become little more descent as now we have now new little additions to our family. Most of my Cousins are mommy now and so Halloween Party has to be planned keeping them in mind. But whatsoever I love this new descent version Halloween as I love to enjoy Halloween with little Nephews and Nieces.

If you are also expecting kids on your Halloween party so here are few tips that can help you plan a nice party without frightening kids.  If you are worried about the decorations then here are few tips.

1. Please be sure that you keep that body parts one decoration out of the picture. No Blood on walls, floor or any other place.
2. Kids love stories, so narrate a story with some good light and sound effects.
3. No body part Candies and cakes, instead get some cool funky cupcakes like pumpkin cup cake, doughnuts tied up with strings.
4. Get some black colored balloons.
5. Attach Spider Web on the way, kids mostly love running through the web.
6. Stick sticky bugs and flies on the walls so that children play with them.
7. Get water colors and lot of pumpkins and let kids paint faces on pumpkins.
8. Get some Harry Potter Masks so that kids can be their favorite wizards and witches.

Pumpkin Ring Toss:

Object of Game: To toss a ring around a pumpkin.

Preparation:

1. Carve out a one to three pumpkins.
2. Buy or make three or four rings about twice as big around as the pumpkins.
3. If you don't know what to use, try an extra piece of leftover electrical cable and tape together with duct tape. (Scouts use this as a "Reduce, re-use and re-cycle" project)

Playing the Game:

1. Measure back several feet, depending on age group.
2. Give the rings to the player.
3. A piece of candy (or two) is awarded for ringing the pumpkin.
4. You can award one piece of candy for a partial ring and two if the ring is completely around.

I always love Infants dressed up as something cute and funny, I would never suggest anyone to dress their infants in some horrifying costume. In my last few posts I shared a dress which I bought for my friends baby, it is a lady bug costume, costumes like butterfly, lion, monkey, superman, batman or cute little bunny.

For one year old to two year old Baby:

By this time the baby can walk properly so now probably choose the dresses which would require baby to carry some item, like fairy wand, little Harry potter, superman or a batman.

For three year old to five year old Baby:

Are you sure that you have to decide the costume I’m pretty sure that you don’t have to worry as your baby has already planned his costume.

Thanks to my Friend, I'm perfect Mommy Shopper

It’s the time to go for shopping again for our new arrival Alisha, yes you guessed it right we all have planned to name her Alisha. Everyday her room is getting filled with more and more toys. As we all know that her mom is the most lazy potato couch present on earth so we all college buddies have decided to help her. Two days back Jenny brought a nice Safety Crib set for her bed. My friend became Mommy, Time for Baby Shower Shopping

Yesterday was a wonderful day as I got great news that my friend has delivered a baby girl. The delivery was premature as some fluid started flowing in her body, something in doctor’s language that I dint understood. After a long surgery doctor informed whole family that baby and mother both are fine and doing very good. After listening to this news I was so elated that I threw a small party for myself, I cooked lovely dinner, pour some wine for myself and had a nice chat with my college buddy’s on Skype. We all were so happy that we started planning gifts for baby shower. But we were so much confused as most of us work in IT firms so dint have much time to roam whole city and select best gifts for our little angel.

So we thought of shopping it online from some websites. After a long search we were able to find few stores with good reviews and stuff. From the very first day we came to know that our friend is pregnant we started planning her room color, bed, dress color and many other things and now when we know that baby is a girl color will be creamy vanilla, butterscotch and pink. Ten Points why I shifted from Glasses to Contact Lenses

Since my school time I wear glasses as my eye sight is weak.  I always felt with my glasses and never felt that I must shift from glasses to contact lenses. But few days back my brother got married and I don’t want to look geek wearing glasses with a nice gown. First I planned to attend the ceremony without glasses but soon realized that I’m almost blind without glasses. So I thought of wearing contact lenses but was a bit nervous as my skin is very allergic.
Since my school time I never planned to shift to contact lenses just for two reasons first they are much expensive and second their cleaning is much difficult then my glasses which just needs to be wiped by any clean cloth. But this time I have no choice but to pick a nice pack of lenses and give them a try. At the beginning I wasn’t much comfortable but at the end of the day my eyes were completely adapted to lenses.
But now I’m using them from the past three months and find them very convenient, no cleaning for whole day, no breaking and I even look better with my glasses off. I even wear colored lenses for parties. On a serious note I liked lenses for full-range sight, I don’t have to move my head to see a full view.
Here are my super ten points about why one should wear Contact lenses?

1.      In summer I love wearing Sun Glasses but with my contact lenses on I don’t have to compromise with my sight.

2.      On rainy days glasses has to be removed as it is difficult to see with fog settling on your glasses.

3.      While having coffee or any other hot beverage glasses have to be removed in order to avoid vapor settling on your glasses

4.      Eyeglasses can’t be worn while running, jogging, exercising and so again vision is compromised.

5.       As there is a difference of 1-2 centimeters between eye and glasses vision is not natural

6.      I can’t wear glasses on parties with nice cocktail dress

7.      The area of sight increases with lenses and so now I have full range sight.

8.      My eye makeup is no more covered behind glasses and so now my eyes look better.

9.      With my Glasses Off I look younger and now many smart guys have started noticing me. :-)

10.  I love games and so now I can enjoy them without any interruption, Thanks to my lenses (maybe) our team won basketball game in Office Sports Tournament.
